     Thomas Turner was born on 27 August 1734.6 He was the son of John Turner and Sarah Williams.4,5 Thomas married first Catherine Smith on 5 May 1754.5,7 Thomas married second Nelly Dill in July 1790 at Madison County, Kentucky.8,9 Thomas died on 9 December 1822 at age 88 years, 3 months and 12 days at Madison County, Kentucky.5,7
     

Thomas and Catherine Smith conveyed "one moeity or third part of a tract or parcel of Land, situate on the east Side of the Yadkin River" at Rowan County, North Carolina, to Philip Turner on 13 February 1771.10

Thomas served in the military in 1778 at Rowan County, North Carolina.5

Thomas was widowed after October 1780, when his wife, Catherine, died.11

Thomas and Nelly Dill obtained a marriage bond on 22 July 1790 at Madison County, Kentucky. Edward Williams signed the marriage bond as surety with Thomas Turner.8,9

Thomas Turner signed the marriage bond of Mordecai Morgan as surety on 27 October 1798 at Madison County, Kentucky.12

Thomas Turner signed the marriage bond of William B. Woodruff to Hannah B. Turner as surety in July 1813 at Madison County, Kentucky.5

     William Henry Turner was born on 15 December 1844 at Audrain County, Missouri.1,6,3 He was the son of Andrew Turner and Mary Harris.1,2,3,4,5 William Henry married Catherine Ann Littrell, daughter of George Littrell and Eliza Jane Hocker, on 2 August 1866 at Audrain County, Missouri.7 William died on 16 August 1928 at age 83 years, 8 months and 1 day at Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri.1,8 He was buried on 17 August 1928 at Elmwood Cemetery in Audrain County, Missouri.1,3 (Click on the icon to see the death certificate image.).1 He was buried on 17 August 1928 at Elmwood Cemetery in Audrain County, Missouri.1
     

The cause of William's death was chronic myocarditis with arteriosclerosis and cerebral hemorrhage.

His obituary appeared on 23 August 1928 in the newspaper the Weekly Intelligencer at Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri. Georgia J. Turner, Elizabeth Ora Turner and Ned A. Turner were named as survivors. Catherine Ann Littrell preceded William in death.3 (Click on the icon to see the image.).
