     Louisa Esther Ess was born on 4 October 1856 at Audrain County, Missouri.3 She was the daughter of John W. Ess and Margaret Burkey.4,3,5 Louisa Esther married Columbus Doynes Littrell, son of George Littrell and Eliza Jane Hocker, on 19 December 1878 at Audrain County, Missouri.6,3 Louisa died on 4 February 1946 at age 89 years and 4 months at Audrain County, Missouri.3 (Click on the icon to see the image.).      Loyd Earnest Ess was born on 4 May 1890 at Missouri.4,5 He was the son of George Adams Ess and Barbara E. Hoffman.2,3 Loyd Earnest married first Miss (?) Lyle.6 Loyd Earnest married second Elsie May Martin on 11 June 1911 at Missouri.7,1 Loyd died in May 1983 at age 92 years and 11 months at Clark, Randolph County, Missouri.5 He was buried at New Hope Cemetery in Randolph County, Missouri.4
