     Amanda Dawkins was born on 18 January 1852 at South Carolina.3 She was the daughter of William Dawkins and Sarah (?).1 Amanda married James Westley Freeman in October 1869 at South Carolina.4,5,6,7 Amanda died on 2 August 1927 at age 75 years, 6 months and 15 days at Fairfield County, South Carolina.8 (Click on the icon to see the image.). The tenth United States census was taken in 1880. Amanda was enumerated in the household of James Westley Freeman as his wife, "Amanda Freeman", at Fairfield County, South Carolina. Her given age was 28 and her given place of birth was South Carolina.5

The thirteenth United States census was taken in 1910. Amanda was enumerated in the household of James Westley Freeman as his wife, "Amanda Freeman", at Fairfield County, South Carolina. Her given age was 58 and her given place of birth was South Carolina. She had been married for 40 years, and was a farm laborer on a home farm. She was not able to write.6

The fourteenth United States census was taken in 1920. Amanda was enumerated in the household of James Westley Freeman as his wife, "Amanda Freeman", at Fairfield County, South Carolina. Her given age was 68 and her given place of birth was South Carolina. She was not able to write.7

The cause of Amanda's death was chronic Brights disease.1

     Margaret Abigale Denham was probably born on 14 June 1793 at Madison County, Kentucky.3 Conflicting evidence places her birth on 12 June 1793 at Madison County, Kentucky.4 Margaret Abigale married Thomas Turner, son of Thomas Turner and Nelly Dill, on 24 November 1811 at Madison County, Kentucky, in a ceremony performed by Rev. S. Prather.1,2 Margaret died on 27 September 1837 at age 44 years, 3 months and 13 days at Rocky Fork Township, Boone County, Missouri.5
     

Margaret was also known as Peggy Denham.1
