     Eliza Pearl Cox was born on 21 October 1880 at Dover, Lafayette County, Missouri.1,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Louis W. Cox and Eliza P. Fletcher.1,2 Eliza Pearl married Frank Evans on 12 August 1903.3 Eliza died in July 1971 at age 90 years and 8 months at Lafayette County, Missouri.4 She was buried at Dover Cemetery in Dover, Lafayette County, Missouri.6

     Enoch Cox was born between 1755 and 1757 at Deep River Section, Orange County, North Carolina.1 He was the son of Solomon Cox and Ruth/Naomi Cox.1 Enoch married first Mary Mackey in 1781 at Virginia.2 Enoch married second Sarah Stoneman on 5 February 1831 at Grayson County, Virginia.3 Enoch died on 28 March 1840 at Grayson County, Virginia.4 He was buried at Chestnut Creek Meeting House, in Grayson County, Virginia.4
     

Enoch served in the military as a private in the First Regiment under Lt. Col. Thomas Posey.4

The first United States census was taken in 1790. Enoch may have lived at Wythe County, Virginia, but the 1790 federal census was lost for all counties in Virginia.5

The second United States census was taken in 1800. Enoch may have lived at Grayson County, Virginia, but the 1800 federal census was lost for all counties in Virginia except Accomack and Louisa.6
