     Thomas Turner was born on 24 August 1791 at Kentucky.4,5 He was the son of Thomas Turner and Nelly Dill.3 Thomas Turner married first Margaret Abigale Denham on 24 November 1811 at Madison County, Kentucky. Rev. S. Prather married the couple.6,7 Thomas Turner married second Mariah Cowen on 7 April 1842 at Boone County, Missouri. Peter Kemper married the couple.8 Thomas died on 29 April 1853 at age 61 years, 8 months and 5 days at Missouri.9 He was buried at in Boone County, Missouri.9
     

Thomas and Margaret Abigale Denham obtained a marriage bond on 21 November 1811 at Madison County, Kentucky. Joseph Turner signed the bond as surety with Thomas Turner. The bond was witnessed by Enoch Turner and Joseph Turner. Consent for the groom was given by his father, Thomas Turner.10

Thomas Turner was named as an heir in the will of Thomas Turner on 18 May 1815 at Madison County, Kentucky.11

Thomas moved to Boone County, Missouri from Kentucky in 1825.12

The fifth United States Census was taken in 1830. Thomas was enumerated as "Thomas Turner", head of a household at Boone County, Missouri. The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Thomas was enumerated as "Thomas Turner", head of a household at Boone County, Missouri. His given age was 58 and his given place of birth was Kentucky. He was a farmer. Also enumerated in his household were Mariah Turner, John William Turner, Mary J. Dysert, Nancy Cowan Dysert, Hocket Austin Turner, Andrew Cowen Turner, Henry C. Turner and Cyrus W. Turner.2

His obituary appeared in May 1853 in the newspaper the Columbia Missouri Statesman at Boone County, Missouri.13

Administration was granted for the estate of Thomas Turner on 14 May 1853 at Boone County, Missouri. The administrator of his estate was Wm. W. Tucker. Final settlement was made on November 10, 1856.14

His given age was 33 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was a farmer, and the value of his real estate was $600. Also enumerated in his household was Ellender Turner.1

The eighth United States census was taken in 1860. Thomas was enumerated as "Thom Turner", head of a household at Audrain County, Missouri. His given age was 40 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was a farmer. The value of his real estate was $10,000 and the value of his personal estate was $2,000. Also enumerated in his household were Ellender Turner, W. S. Turner and H. F. Turner.2

His obituary appeared on 13 May 1897 in the newspaper "Mexico Daily Weekly Ledger" at Audrain County, Missouri. Mary Barr Roberts and W. S. Turner were named as survivors.7

John Pace married the couple.5,6 Thomas Turner married third Elizabeth Holden on 22 November 1834 at Madison County, Kentucky.7 Thomas died on 17 November 1847 at age 83 years, 1 month and 2 days at Madison County, Kentucky.4
     

Thomas and Catherine Patterson obtained a marriage bond at Rowan County, North Carolina. James Patterson signed the bond with Thomas Turner, and Hugh Magoune witnessed.1
