     Mary Turner was the daughter of Cornelius B. Turner and Sarah Sweeney.2,1 Mary Turner married Samuel Cox on 2 May 1811 at Warren County, Kentucky, in a ceremony performed by Edward Turner.2
     

Mary was also known as Polly Turner.2

Mary and Samuel Cox obtained a marriage bond at Warren County, Kentucky. John Cox signed the bond as surety with Samuel Cox. "Phinahas Cos" (sic), father of the groom, gave consent for Samuel Cox, and the bride's consent was given by her father, Cornelius Turner.2
