     Sibella Burkey was born in March 1834 at Germany.3 She was the daughter of Peter Burkey and Barbara Wick.2,1 Sibella married Joseph Engle on 15 March 1859 at Audrain County, Missouri, in a ceremony performed by James Barnes.4
     

Sibella immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1844 .5

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Sibella was enumerated as "Sibella Berkey", in the household of Peter Burkey at Audrain County, Missouri. Her given age was 16 and her given place of birth was Germany.1

Sibella Engle was named as an heir in the will of Peter Burkey on 17 November 1859 at Audrain County, Missouri.2

Burkey was born on 16 August 1863 at Missouri.1 He was the son of Anthony Burkey and Josephine Huckle.4,5 William P. married Bettie Robertson, daughter of Samuel Robertson and Margaret A. Austin, in 1892 at Missouri.6 William died on 4 April 1949 at age 85 years, 7 months and 19 days at Randolph County, Missouri.1 (Click on the icon to see the image.). John Stephen Burnsides1

     John Stephen Burnsides was born on 14 February 1817 at Lancaster, Garrard County, Kentucky.1 John Stephen married Ann Eliza Naylor, daughter of Samuel Naylor and Sarah Pollard, on 18 November 1841 at Garrard County, Kentucky.2 John died on 2 October 1892 at age 75 years, 7 months and 18 days at Baker County, Oregon.1 He was buried at Rock Creek Cemetery in Haines, Baker County, Oregon.1
     

John began military service in the United States Army on 26 January 1862.1 John ended military service on 21 October 1862.1

John moved to Oregon from Kansas between 1878 and 1882.1

     John Brewton was born on 16 June 1876.1 John married Nancy Freeman, daughter of Levi Freeman and Hellen Elizebeth Elrod, circa 1900.2,1 John died on 24 February 1947 at age 70 years, 8 months and 8 days.1
     

The twelfth United States census was taken in 1900. John was enumerated as "John Bruton", head of a household at Greenville Township, Greenville County, South Carolina. His given age was 21, and and his given place of birth was South Carolina. His date of birth was not known, nor were the birth places of his parents. He had been married for less than one year. He was a weaver at a cotton mill, and he rented his home. Enumerated with him was his wife, Nancy Freeman. Also enumerated in his household was Hellen Elizebeth Freeman.3
