     Emmaline (?) is believed to have been born on 12 July 1814 at South Carolina.2 Conflicting evidence places her birth circa 1812 at South Carolina.3 Emmaline married William Pinckney Vaughn, son of David Vaughn Jr. and Mary Smith.4,2,5 Emmaline died on 2 January 1899 at age 84 years, 5 months and 21 days at South Carolina.2 She was buried at Vaughn Family Cemetery in Greenville County, South Carolina.6
