     William H. Swoger was born circa 1843 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.1 He married Sally Pollard, daughter of Staunton Pollard and Elizabeth King, on 19 September 1865 at Lincoln County, Kentucky.2
     

William and Sally Pollard obtained a marriage bond on 16 September 1865 at Lincoln County, Kentucky. Perry Thornton Pollard Sr. signed the bond as surety with William.2

     Nancy Taylor was born on 2 August 1798.3 She married Barnett Turner, son of John Turner and Jane Cooper, on 13 November 1814 at Madison County, Kentucky, in a ceremony performed by John Pace.2,1 Nancy died in March 1831 at age 32 years and 6 months.3
