     Lycurgus Sims was born circa 1846 at Missouri.2 He married Eliza B. Winn, daughter of William R. Winn and Mary Park, on 18 February 1875.1
     

Lycurgus was also known as Curtis Simms.1

The tenth United States census was taken in 1880. Lycurgus was enumerated as "Licurgus Sims", head of a household at Rocky Fork Township, Boone County, Missouri. His given age was 34 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was married, and was a farmer. He was said to be deaf and dumb. Enumerated with him was his wife, Eliza B. Sims.      Martha Sims was born on 10 June 1837 at Missouri.1 She married Jackson Winn, son of William R. Winn and Mary Park, on 21 November 1852.2 Martha died on 30 June 1914 at age 77 years and 20 days at Missouri.1 She was buried at in Sturgeon, Boone County, Missouri.1
