     John Samuel Pollard was born in May 1863.4 He was the son of John William Pollard and Elizabeth Stewart.2,3 John Samuel Pollard married Rosetta Koon on 19 May 1889.4 He was buried in 1948 at Almena, Kansas.4 John died in May 1948 at age 85 years at Kansas.4

John Thompson Pollard1 (M)

     John Thompson Pollard was born in 1839 at Kentucky.2 He married Margaret Brinckerhoff on 8 October 1861.1 John died on 18 January 1915 at age 76 years at Grizzly Bluff, Humboldt County, California.3

     John Will Odus Pollard was born on 13 August 1888 at Monroe County, Missouri.1,3,4 He was the son of Walter Harris Pollard and Mary Rovilla Cox.1,2 John Will Odus Pollard married Alta Lucretia Young, daughter of John Thomas Young and Mary Magdaline Burkey, on 9 September 1916 at Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri, in a ceremony performed by Rev. Ben L. Smith.5,6 John died on 8 August 1976 at age 87 years, 11 months and 26 days at in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri.7 He was buried at in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri.7
     

John was also known as Hack Pollard. He was also called Ode Pollard.8

The twelfth United States census was taken in 1900. John was enumerated in the household of Walter Harris Pollard as his son, "John O. Pollard", at Union Township, at Monroe County, Missouri. His given age was 11, and he was said to have been born in Missouri in August 1888. He attended school.2

The fourteenth United States census was taken in 1920. John was enumerated as "John O. Pollard", head of a household at Saling Township, Audrain County, Missouri. His given age was 30, and he was said to have been born in Missouri. He was married, and was a farmer on a general farm which he rented. Enumerated with him was his wife, Alta Lucretia Pollard.9

The fifteenth United States census was taken in 1930. John was enumerated as "John Pollard", head of a household at Macon, Macon County, Missouri. His given age was 40 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was married when he was 23 years of age, and was a carpenter n the house industry. He rented his home for $16, and he did not live on a farm. He was not a veteran. Enumerated with him was his wife, Alta Lucretia Pollard.10

His obituary appeared on 14 August 1976 in the newspaper at Columbia, Boone County, Missouri. Mary Boughan and Belle Pollard were named as survivors. Alta Lucretia Pollard preceded John in death.7 (Click on the icon to see the image.).7

     Katherine Pollard was born on 4 September 1872 at Boone County, Missouri.2 She was the daughter of James Perry Pollard and Sarah Ann Crosswhite.1 Katherine Pollard married Dr. Robert B. Noe on 17 June 1890.3 Katherine died on 2 March 1955 at age 82 years, 5 months and 26 days at California.2 She was buried at in San Diego County, California.2
     

Katherine was also known as Kate Pollard.1
