     James Perry Pollard was born in May 1829 at Boone County, Missouri.2,3,1 He was the son of Reuben Pollard and Rebecca Brink.1 James Perry Pollard married Sarah Ann Crosswhite, daughter of John Rippetoe Crosswhite and Rosetta Mosley, on 3 October 1855 at Audrain County, Missouri, in a ceremony performed by Reverend William R. James died on 27 May 1920 at age 91 years at Rocheport, Boone County, Missouri.1 (Click on the icon to see the image.).1 He was buried on 28 May 1920 at in Boone County, Missouri.1
     

James went to California at the time of the Gold Rush on 2 April 1849. He returned to Missouri in time to be enumerated on the 1850 US Census at Boone County, Missouri.5

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. James was enumerated as "James P. Pollard", head of a household at Boone County, Missouri. His given age was 21 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was a blacksmith. He was living alone.6

The eighth United States census was taken in 1860. James was enumerated as "Jas P Pollard", head of a household at Boone County, Missouri. His given age was 30 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was a blacksmith. His real estate was valued at $1,000 and his personal estate was valued at $250. Also enumerated in his household were Sarah Ann Pollard, Geneva Rebecca Pollard and John C. Stice.7

James Perry Pollard was a cograntor in the conveyance of 540 acres at Boone County, Missouri, to John Pollard on 1 March 1866. The land had been inherited by the grantors from Reuben Pollard.8 (Click on the icon to see the image.).

The thirteenth United States census was taken in 1910. James was enumerated as "James Polard", head of a household at Rocky Fork Township, Boone County, Missouri. His given age was 81 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He had been married for 52 years, and was a farmer on a farm which he owned. Enumerated with him was his wife, Sarah Ann Pollard.9

James lived at Boone County, Missouri, between 1913 and 1920. In later years, after Sarah's death, James P. Pollard lived with Navy and Jim Hall.10

At the age of 84, James was widowed 18 July 1913 when his wife Sarah died at Boone County, Missouri.11,12

The cause of James's death was gangrene of the foot, with chronic arteriosclerosis.1

His obituary appeared on 3 June 1920 in the newspaper "Sturgeon Missouri Leader" at Sturgeon, Boone County, Missouri. Geneva Rebecca Hall, Katherine Noe and Rosetta Smith were named as survivors. Sarah Ann Crosswhite preceded James in death.13 (Click on the icon to see the image.).

     James T. Pollard was born in 1812 at Kentucky.2 He was the son of Granville Pollard and Elizabeth Thompson.2 James T. Pollard married Elizabeth Terrill, daughter of Robert Terrill and Nancy Herring, on 19 July 1833 at Garrard County, Kentucky.3 James died on 25 December 1852 at age 40 years at Garrard County, Kentucky, of consumption.4
     

James and Elizabeth Terrill obtained a marriage bond at Garrard County, Kentucky. Terrill Herring signed the bond as surety with James.3 The marriage of James T. Pollard and Elizabeth Terrill was annulled on 27 November 1849 M.5

     John Pollard was born on 27 April 1827 at Kentucky.6,7 He was the son of Reuben Pollard and Rebecca Brink.1,5 John Pollard married Charlotte Elizabeth Turner, daughter of Andrew Turner and Mary Harris, on 29 September 1853 at Audrain County, Missouri.8 John died on 22 December 1905 at age 78 years, 7 months and 25 days at Missouri of pneumonia.9,6 He was buried at Saling Township, Audrain County, Missouri.6
