     Abner Pollard was born in 1784 at Amherst County, Virginia.2 He was the son of Absolom Pollard and Leanna Banks.1 Abner Pollard married first Jane Chandler on 21 August 1811 at Fayette County, Kentucky.3 Abner Pollard married second Martha Chandler on 27 July 1818 at Fayette County, Kentucky.4 Abner died in June 1833 at age 49 years at Lancaster, Garrard County, Kentucky.1
     

Abner and Jane Chandler obtained a marriage bond at Fayette County, Kentucky. James Chandler signed the bond as surety with Abner Pollard, and the father of the bride gave his consent in person.3

The fifth United States Census was taken in 1830. Abner was enumerated as "Abner Pollard", head of a household at Garrard County, Kentucky. His household consisted of two males under 5 years of age, two males of 10 and under 15, one male of 40 and under 50, two females under 5, one female of 5 and under 10, two females of 10 and under 15, and one female of 30 and under 40.5

Abner made a will on 13 August 1834 at Garrard County, Kentucky.6
