     Andrew Turner Owings was born on 18 May 1840 at Warren County, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of Benjamin H. Owings and Levinia M. Turner.^2,3 Andrew Turner Owings married first Martha Woodson circa 1860 at Missouri.⁴ Andrew Turner Owings married second Alma V. Boatman on 20 November 1876 at Monroe County, Missouri.⁵ Andrew died on 13 March 1920 at age 79 years, 9 months and 24 days at Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri.¹ (Click on the icon to see the image.).¹ He was buried on 15 March 1920 at in Randolph County, Missouri.^1,6

The ninth United States census was taken in 1870. Andrew was enumerated as "Andrew Owens", head of a household at Audrain County, Missouri. His given age was 30 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was a farmer. The value of his real estate was $800 and the value of his personal estate was $700. The cause of Andrew's death was cerebral hemorrhage.¹
