     Jacob Nave was born circa 1775.1 He married Elizabeth Adams at Tennessee.1 Jacob died on 23 April 1833 at Lafayette County, Missouri.2
     

The fifth United States Census was taken in 1830. Jacob was enumerated as "Jacob Nave", head of a household at Saline County, Missouri. His household consisted of one male of 5 and under 10, one male of 10 and under 15, two males of 15 and under 20, one male of 50 and under 60, one female of 10 and under 15 and one female of 15 and under 20.3

Administration was granted for the estate of Jacob Nave on 23 April 1833 at Lafayette County, Missouri. Jesse Nave and James Fletcher were appointed administrators, and Elisha Green was surety on the administration bond.4

     Nancy Nave was born between 1802 and 1805 at Tennessee.3,4,5 She was the daughter of Jacob Nave and Elizabeth Adams.2 Nancy Nave married first William White on 5 March 1820 at Cooper County, Missouri.1 Nancy Nave married second James Fletcher, son of Drury Fletcher and Sarah Benham, on 12 June 1825 at Missouri. Rev. Duke Young married the couple.6,7,8 Nancy died on 21 November 1869 at Lafayette County, Missouri.9
     

Nancy was widowed before October 1822 when her husband William White died Missouri.10

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Nancy was enumerated as "Nancy Fletcher", in the household of James Fletcher at Lafayette County, Missouri. Her given age was 45 and her given place of birth was Tennessee.11

Nancy Nave was named as an heir in the will of James Fletcher on 11 February 1860 at Lafayette County, Missouri.12

At the age of at an unknown age , Nancy was widowed 11 February 1860 when her husband James died at Lafayette County, Missouri.13,9
