     Mordecai Morgan was born circa 1780 at Kentucky.1 He married Catherine Turner, daughter of Thomas Turner and Catherine Smith, on 2 November 1798 at Madison County, Kentucky.2
     

Mordecai and Catherine Turner obtained a marriage bond on 27 October 1798 at Madison County, Kentucky. Thomas Turner signed the bond as surety with Mordecai.2
