     John Harrison Young was born on 28 October 1838 at Simpson County, Kentucky.2 He was the son of Benjamin Young and Rebecca Harris Blewett.1 John Harrison married Elizabeth Blewitt, daughter of Edward W. Blewett and Lucy Leeton, on 20 December 1865 at Warren County, Kentucky.3 John Harrison married second Emily Stuart on 27 December 1870.2 John Harrison married third Lucy Ann McFadin on 18 January 1883 at Simpson County, Kentucky.2 John died on 15 December 1910 at age 72 years, 1 month and 17 days. He was buried at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Simpson County, Kentucky.

     Louis Ephraim Young was born on 8 September 1896 at Clark, Randolph County, Missouri.3 He was the son of John Thomas Young and Mary Magdaline Burkey.1,2,3 Louis Ephraim married first Mary Pollard, daughter of Walter Harris Pollard and Mary Rovilla Cox, on 3 January 1916 at Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri.4,5 Louis Ephraim married second Martha McDonald after 1930. His given age was 24 and his given place of birth was Missouri. He was married, and he was a farmer on a general farm. [Note: this farm actually belonged to his mother-in-law, Mary Rovilla Pollard. Louis Young had injured his back and moved in with his wife's family to recuperate]. Enumerated with him was his wife, Mary Young. Also enumerated in his household were Georgia Lee Young, Maurice Pollard Young, Mary Rovilla Pollard and Belle Pollard.4

Louis and Mary Young were divorced circa 1926 at Missouri.

The fifteenth United States census was taken in 1930. Louis was enumerated in the household of Elsie McDonnald as "Louie Young", at 700A Union Street, Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri.
