Sarah Benham was born circa 1769 at Virginia.2,3 She was the daughter of John Benham and Mary Hobbs.1,2 Sarah married Drury Fletcher on 6 July 1786 at Washington County, Virginia, in a ceremony performed by John Frost.4,5,1,6 Sarah married second Edward Wilburn.7
Other evidence indicates that Sarah's name may have been Sarah Ann Benham.2
Sarah was a cograntor with Drury Fletcher in the conveyance of land at Washington County, Virginia, to Roland Chiles 23 August 1788. This was the land Drury purchased from Joel Hobbs in 1786.8,9
