     Thomas Turner was born on 27 August 1734.6 He was the son of John Turner and Sarah Williams.4,5 Thomas married first Catherine Smith on 5 May 1754.5,7 Thomas married second Nelly Dill in July 1790 at Madison County, Kentucky.8,9 Thomas died on 9 December 1822 at age 88 years, 3 months and 12 days at Madison County, Kentucky.5,7
     

Thomas conveyed land on the south side of the Cataba adjoining Thomas Robinson at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, to John Armstrong between 20 January 1765 and 21 January 1765.5

Thomas and Catherine Smith conveyed "one moeity or third part of a tract or parcel of Land, situate on the east Side of the Yadkin River" at Rowan County, North Carolina, to Philip Turner 13 February 1771.10
