The couple was married by Harrison Canady, Justice of the Peace.3 Sarah died on 13 January 1914 at Randolph County, Missouri.4 She was buried at Dunn Cemetery in Randolph County, Missouri.1

     Smith Turner was born on 1 January 1776 at Rowan County, North Carolina.2 He was the son of Thomas Turner and Catherine Smith.1 Smith married Nancy Ragsdale in May 1804 at Madison County, Kentucky. The couple was married by the Rev. Andrew Tribble.3,4 Smith died on 20 September 1839 at age 63 years, 8 months and 19 days at Audrain County, Missouri.5
