     John Turner was born on 23 November 1772 at Rowan County, North Carolina.1 He was the son of Thomas Turner and Catherine Smith.2 John married Lydia Dill on 22 November 1800 at Madison County, Kentucky.2 John died after 1850 at Morgan County, Illinois.2
