     John Turner was born on 25 December 1810 at Madison County, Kentucky.2 He was the son of Jesse Turner and Mary S. (?).1 John married Rhoda Ann Prewitt on 11 February 1836 at Boone County, Missouri.3,4 John died on 20 October 1876 at age 65 years, 9 months and 25 days at Boone County, Missouri.2 He was buried at Union Cemetery in Boone County, Missouri.2

     John Turner was born on 12 September 1768 at Rowan County, North Carolina.3 He was the son of John Turner and Rebecca Smith.3,4 John married Tabitha Mobley, daughter of Benjamin Moberly and Mary Price, on 20 October 1791 at Madison County, Kentucky.2,5 John died on 1 August 1846 at age 77 years, 10 months and 20 days at Howard County, Missouri.3 He was buried at Salt Creek Cemetery in Howard County, Missouri.3
     

John and Tabitha Mobley obtained a marriage bond on 15 October 1791 at Madison County, Kentucky. Jacob Baker signed the bond as surety with John.5

John received a grant of 35 acres on the Dry Fork of the Gasper River watercourse at Warren County, Kentucky, on 20 October 1810.6

John Turner witnessed a deed conveying 99 acres and 30 poles of land for $150 Warren County, Kentucky from John Sloss to Eli K. Blewett 13 January 1811.7

John Turner was named as an heir in the will of John Turner on 3 December 1813 at Madison County, Kentucky.10

John purchased 91 acres and 15 poles for $300.00 at Warren County, Kentucky, from John Benbrook and Lucy Benbrook 14 April 1815. The deed was witnessed by David Morris, Abraham Downey and William Seaton.11

John Turner signed the marriage bond of Benjamin Turner as surety on 15 November 1815 at Madison County, Kentucky.12

The fifth United States Census was taken in 1830. John was enumerated as "John Turner", head of a household at Warren County, Kentucky. His household consisted of one male of 60 and under 70 years of age.1

Administration was granted for the estate of John Turner after 18 December 1846 at Howard County, Missouri.14

     John Turner was the son of John Turner and Tabitha Mobley.1,2 John married Betsy Ann Blewett, daughter of Eli K. Blewett and Elizabeth Ann Williams, on 17 April 1826 at Warren County, Kentucky, in a ceremony performed by Reverend Christopher Harris.1

     John Turner was born in 1738 at Spotsylvania County, Virginia.2 He was the son of John Turner and Sarah Williams.2,1 John married first Rebecca Smith, daughter of Andrew Smith and Annah (?), circa 1761.1 John married second Jane Cooper on 29 April 1780 at Rowan County, North Carolina.3 John died on 5 December 1813 at age 75 years at Madison County, Kentucky.2,1 He was buried at the family farm in Madison County, Kentucky.1
     

John served in the military as a private in the North Carolina Revolutionary Army in 1777. He volunteered at the age of 39.4

John was widowed between 1779 and 1880 when his wife Rebecca died.1

John and Jane Cooper obtained a marriage bond in April 1780 at Rowan County, North Carolina. James Patterson signed the marriage bond as surety, and B. Booth Boote witnessed.3
