     Edward Turner was born circa 1768 at Rowan County, North Carolina.2 He was the son of John Turner and Rebecca Smith.2 Edward married Lucretia Moberly, daughter of Benjamin Moberly and Mary Price, on 6 October 1789 at Madison County, Kentucky, in a ceremony performed by Reverend Christopher Harris.3,4 Edward died in 1843 at Platte County, Missouri.2
     

Edward Turner witnessed a deed conveying 100 acres for $300.00 Warren County, Kentucky from Eli K. Blewett and Elizabeth Ann Blewett to John Turner 19 January 1811.5

Edward Turner witnessed a deed conveying a tract of land of 82 1/2 acres for 80 pounds Warren County, Kentucky from David Morris and Patsy Morris to John Turner 29 January 1811.6

Edward purchased 400 acres adjoining Sally McHenry, John Martin and Thomas Lowry for $300.00 at Warren County, Kentucky, from Jacob Morris 10 June 1811.7

Edward Turner was named as an heir in the will of John Turner on 3 December 1813 at Madison County, Kentucky.8

Edward and Lucretia Turner conveyed 50 acres for $20.00 to Jesse Perkins 24 August 1816. Lucretia Turner relinquished her right of dower. There were no witnesses.9

Edward and Lucretia Turner conveyed 70 acres for $300.00 adjoining Whorton Randell at Warren County, Kentucky, to William Furnish 14 October 1816. The land was a part of the survey of Jacob Morris of 84 acres and a part of a 200 acre survey of John Marker. Lucretia relinquished her right of dower. There were no witnesses.10

Edward was a founder, along with William Thorpe and David McLain, of Concord Baptist Church on 10 May 1817 at Howard County, Missouri. The church stood three miles northeast of Bunceton. The fourteen charter members were Luke Williams, Polly Williams, William Savage, Mary Savage, Delaney Bolen, Judith Williams, Absolom Huff, Susanna Savage, Joseph Baze, Lydia Turner, Charles Williams, Patsey Bolen, Sallie Baze and Elizabeth Williams.11

Edward and Lucretia Turner conveyed 300 acres lying about 5 miles from the town of Bowling Green, for $1,600 at Warren County, Kentucky, to Edward M. Cook 5 January 1818. The deed was acknowledged in Howard County before Gray Bynum, JP. Lucretia relinquished her right of dower. There were no witnesses.12

The fifth United States Census was taken in 1830. Edward was enumerated as "Edward Turner", head of a household at Howard County, Missouri. His household consisted of one male of 60 and under 69, and one female of 40 and under 49.1

     Edward Turner was born between 1730 and 1740 possibly at Virginia.1 He was the son of John Turner and Sarah Williams.1 Edward married first Ann Williams circa 1761.1 Edward married second Ann Davies circa 1764 at Rowan County, North Carolina.2 Edward died in 1803 at Madison County, Kentucky.1
     

Edward was also known as Ned Turner.1

Edward and Ann Turner conveyed part of a parcel of land on the East side of the Yadkin River at Rowan County, North Carolina, to John Turner 13 July 1763.3
