The thirteenth United States census was taken in 1910. David was enumerated in the household of John Reuben Pollard as his wife, "Davidella Pollard", at Rocky Fork Township, Boone County, Missouri. Her given age was 47 and her given place of birth was Missouri. She had been married for 29 years and was the mother of four children, three of whom were living.6

David was widowed on 6 May 1912 when her husband John died at Rocky Fork Township, Boone County, Missouri.7
