     Andrew Turner was born in 1801 at Kentucky.7 He was the son of John Turner and Tabitha Mobley.4,5,6 Andrew married Mary Harris in 1826.6 Andrew died on 16 August 1858 at age 57 years at Audrain County, Missouri.8 He was buried at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Saling Township, Audrain County, Missouri.8 (Click on the icon to see the image.).
     

Andrew Turner signed the marriage bond of Benjamin H. Owings to Levinia M. Turner as surety on 18 March 1828 at Warren County, Kentucky.9

The fifth United States Census was taken in 1830. Andrew was enumerated as "Andrew Turner", head of a household at Warren County, Kentucky. His household consisted of one male under 5 years of age, one male of 20 and under 30, one female under 5, and one female of 15 and under 20.1

Andrew Turner signed the marriage bond of Dudley D. Turner to Martha Dillon as surety on 1 December 1836 at Warren County, Kentucky.10

Andrew moved to Audrain County, Missouri from Warren County, Kentucky between 1836 and 1839. He was one of the early settlers of Audrain County.11,12,13

The sixth United States Census was taken in 1840. Andrew was enumerated as "Andrew Turner", head of a household at Audrain County, Missouri. His household consisted of one male of 5 and under 10, one male of 10 and under 15, one male of 30 and under 40, one female under 5, one female of 10 and under 15, and one female of 20 and under 30.2

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Andrew was enumerated as "Andrew Turner", head of a household at Audrain County, Missouri. His given age was 48 and his given place of birth was Kentucky. He was a farmer, and the value of his real estate was $4,000. Also enumerated in his household were Mary Turner, Alexander John Turner, Charlotte Elizabeth Turner, Benjamin D. Turner, William Henry Turner and James Andrew Turner.3

The estate of Andrew Turner was admitted for probate on 11 November 1858 at Audrain County, Missouri. Alex Turner was named Executor, and on November 11, 1858, the Audrain County Court examined and approved his bond.14
