     Phoebe Scarlet was born on 4 November 1722 at Chester County, Pennsylvania.1 Phoebe married first John Allen II, son of John Allen and Amy Cox, in 1740 at Chester County, Pennsylvania.2 Phoebe married second Isaac Cox, son of Thomas Cox and Elizabeth Fincher, in 1764 at Chester County, Pennsylvania.3 Phoebe died in 1815 at age 92 years.

     Catharine Schnider was born circa 1805 at Bavaria, Germany.3,4,5 Catharine married Henry Ess.6,7,3 Catharine died on 11 December 1876 at Missouri.3 She was buried at Macedonia Cemetery in Audrain County, Missouri.3
     

Catharine immigrated to the United States from Darmstadt in 1848.8

Catharine was widowed in 1848 when her husband Henry died.8
