     Nancy Ragsdale was born between 1781 and 1790.2 Nancy married Smith Turner, son of Thomas Turner and Catherine Smith, in May 1804 at Madison County, Kentucky. The couple was married by the Rev. Andrew Tribble.3,4 Nancy died on 29 December 1877 at Centralia, Boone County, Missouri.5

Her given age was 34 and her given place of birth was Missouri. She had been married for thirteen years and was the mother of five children, all of whom were living.2

The fourteenth United States census was taken in 1920. Nettie was enumerated in the household of Hugh Burkey as his wife, "Nettie Burkeye", at Saling Township, Audrain County, Missouri. Her given age was 47 and her given place of birth was Missouri.4

Nettie was widowed 31 October 1942 at the age of 67, when her husband Hugh Burkey died at Audrain County, Missouri.5
