     Granville Pollard was born in 1786.3 He was the son of Absolom Pollard and Leanna Banks.2 Granville married Elizabeth Thompson on 25 September 1809 at Garrard County, Kentucky.3,4 Granville died circa 1846 at Garrard County, Kentucky.2 He was buried at Pollard Cemetery in Garrard County, Kentucky.5,6
     

The third United States Census was taken in 1810. Granville was enumerated as "Greensville Pollard", head of a household at Garrard County, Kentucky. His household consisted of one male of 16 and under 25, one female under 10, and one female of 16 and under 25.7 (Click on the icon to see the image.).

Granville made a will in 1846. His 10 children were named, and grand-daughters Mary and Artemisia Niele (Hill?). Executors were his sons, Thornton K. and William G. Pollard.3

Granville's birth date was typed "1786" and "May 12" is written in the box next to the typed year, Freeman Research Files (privately held by Cheryl Freeman); Dallas, Texas. Granville's stone is broken in several pieces and the date is missing.

     Granville Pollard was born circa 1835 at Kentucky.1 He was the son of Granville Pollard and Elizabeth Thompson.1 Granville died on 21 October 1856 at Garrard County, Kentucky, of consumption.2
     

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Granville was enumerated as "Granville Pollard", in the household of Elizabeth Pollard at Garrard County, Kentucky. His given age was 16 and his given place of birth was Kentucky. He was a farmer.1

Granville made a will at Garrard County, Kentucky.3
