Her given age was 36, and she was said to have been born in Missouri in April 1864. She had been married 11 years and was the mother of two children, both of whom were living.4

Mollie and George published a card of thanks in the "Sturgeon Missouri Leader" thanking their neighbors and friends for their assistance during the sickness and death of George's father, John Pollard on 28 December 1905.8

     Preston H. Owings was born circa 1819 at Kentucky.2 Preston H. married Frances Crosswhite, daughter of William Crosswhite and Mary Haggerty, on 13 March 1845.3 Preston died on 23 July 1896.1
