     Mollie L. Owings was born on 13 April 1864 at Missouri.5,6 She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Owings and Elizabeth Simms.1,4,2 Mollie L. married George Andrew Lee Pollard, son of John Pollard and Charlotte Elizabeth Turner, on 4 October 1887 at Audrain County, Missouri. The couple was married by William H. Rothwell.7,8 Mollie died on 27 December 1966 at age 102 years, 8 months and 14 days at Missouri.5 She was buried at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Saling Township, Audrain County, Missouri.5

The twelfth United States census was taken in 1900. Mollie was enumerated in the household of George Andrew Lee Pollard as his wife, "Mary L. Pollard", at Saling Township, Audrain County, Missouri. Her given age was 36, and she was said to have been born in Missouri in April 1864. She had been married 11 years and was the mother of two children, both of whom were living.4

Mollie and George published a card of thanks in the "Sturgeon Missouri Leader" thanking their neighbors and friends for their assistance during the sickness and death of George's father, John Pollard on 28 December 1905.9

     Preston H. Owings was born circa 1819 at Kentucky.2 Preston H. married Frances Crosswhite, daughter of William Crosswhite and Mary Haggerty, on 13 March 1845.3 Preston died on 23 July 1896.1
