     James Palmer Angell was born circa 1816 at Kentucky.2 James Palmer married Serena Hill on 21 January 1836 at Boone County, Missouri.1 James died on 28 September 1900 at New Albin, Allamakee County, Iowa.1

His given age was 34 and his given place of birth was Kentucky. He was a plasterer, and the value of his real estate was $500. Also enumerated in his household were Serena Angell, Cynthia Ann Angell, Elizabeth Jane Angell, Nancy P. Angell, John William Angell and Joseph Ed Angell.2
