William Hocker was born on 8 September 1814 at Lincoln County, Kentucky.1 William married Margaret Turner, daughter of Phillip Turner and Gressy Hiett, on 7 April 1836 at Howard County, Missouri.2 William died on 7 September 1899 at age 84 years, 11 months and 30 days.1
