Coleman Haley1,2

     Coleman Haley was born between 1781 and 1790.1 Coleman married Ellender Renfro circa 1805 at Kentucky.3 Coleman died before 8 November 1844 at Boone County, Missouri.2
     

The sixth United States Census was taken in 1840. Coleman was enumerated as "Coleman Haley", head of a household at Monroe County, Missouri. His household consisted of two males of 15 and under 20, one male of 20 and under 30, one male of 50 and under 60, one female of 5 and under 10, one female of 10 and under 15, one female of 15 and under 20, and one female of 50 and under 60.1

Coleman made a will on 8 November 1844 at Boone County, Missouri, in which he left property to Ellender Haley, William Haley, Green Haley, John Haley, Sarah Haley, Ellener Haley, Elizabeth Haley, Turpin Haley, Hamilton Haley, Rhoda Haley, Polly Haley and Patsy Adams . The administrator was Nelly Haley.2

     Elizabeth Haley was born circa 1808 at Kentucky.2 She was the daughter of Coleman Haley and Ellender Renfro.1 Elizabeth married first James C. Pollard, son of Abner Pollard and Martha Chandler, circa 1838 at Kentucky.3,4 Elizabeth died between 1870 and 1875 at Randolph County, Missouri.5
     

Elizabeth Haley was named as an heir in the will of Coleman Haley on 8 November 1844 at Boone County, Missouri.1

The seventh United States census was taken in 1850. Elizabeth was enumerated as "Elizabeth Pollard", in the household of James C. Pollard at Randolph County, Missouri. Her given age was 42 and her given place of birth was Kentucky.2
